MundhwaTraffic is a community-focused traffic information website built to help daily commuters in Pune make faster and smarter travel decisions. We focus on real-world congestion points such as the Mundhwa Flyover, Mundhwa Bridge, Magarpatta City, and nearby office corridors.
Pune commuters often lose valuable time due to unexpected traffic jams, especially during peak office hours and rainy seasons. Traditional map apps sometimes lag behind real ground conditions or don’t clearly show what’s actually happening at choke points like flyovers and junctions.
MundhwaTraffic fills this gap by combining live visual context with traffic data so users can quickly decide whether to take a route, wait, or choose an alternative.
We use publicly visible traffic camera feeds to capture live snapshots of critical road segments. These images are refreshed at regular intervals so users can visually assess congestion levels instead of relying only on estimated speeds.
This approach is especially helpful during sudden jams, accidents, diversions, or weather-related slowdowns.
In addition to live visuals, MundhwaTraffic uses traffic data sources such as Google Traffic to estimate travel times across key segments like:

Traffic images and summaries are refreshed automatically at frequent intervals throughout the day, with higher attention during peak commuting hours (morning and evening).
This ensures the information remains relevant and useful for short, time-sensitive travel decisions.
While we strive to keep information accurate and timely, traffic conditions can change rapidly due to accidents, weather, or road work. MundhwaTraffic should be used as a decision-support tool rather than an absolute guarantee.
This project was built with a simple goal: reduce daily commute stress by providing transparent, local, and easy-to-understand traffic information. We believe even a small time saving can significantly improve daily life for city commuters.
